The practice
Complex systems, made obvious.
Seven years designing interfaces for transport and ICT products — the kind of systems people are obliged to use rather than pleased to admire. Research, interface, design system and brand, handled by one designer.

How I work
Four stages, in this order
The order matters. Most design that fails, fails at stage one — the wrong problem, solved beautifully.
Common questions
Before you get in touch
Where are you based, and how do you work with clients?
I work remotely with teams across Europe and further afield. Projects run in a shared Figma file with a weekly review, so distance rarely matters, and I’m comfortable shifting hours to overlap with your working day. Open to project, retainer, contract, full-time and part-time arrangements.
What kind of projects do you take on?
Digital products where the underlying system is complicated: transport and ICT platforms, internal portals and dashboards, e-commerce, and the brand and presentation work around them. Also shorter engagements — a design system audit, a checkout redesign, a pitch deck.
Do you do research, or only visual design?
Both. Every project starts with framing the problem and understanding the customer segments involved — stakeholder interviews, user interviews, journey mapping, personas, usability testing. It always feeds the interface rather than sitting in a separate deck.
How do projects usually run?
Four stages: frame, research, design, hand off. Most engagements run four to ten weeks depending on scope, with a shared file, a weekly review and named deliverables at each stage.

A sentence about the problem is enough to start. I’ll reply with what I’d want to know next and an honest answer about whether I’m the right person for it.
